    ePoliceReporting: Using this online system allows you to report a nonviolent crime, such as identity theft, vandalism, or lost or found property immediately and print a copy of the resulting police report for free.

  4. Officer-Involved Shooting Investigations

    Officer-Involved Shooting Investigations

    Whenever a member of the Castle Rock Police Department is involved in a deadly force encounter where the officer(s) discharges his/her firearm, the Critical Response Team (18th Judicial District) will investigate the incident according to the criteria detailed under this page. These teams may also be used any time the agency CEO requests their assistance to investigate any use of force situation resulting in death.

    RAIDS Online

    The RAIDS Online software maps and analyzes crime data; alerts Castle Rock residents about crimes in their area; and allows the Castle Rock Police Department to quickly alert the public about crimes as they occur. This free service is provided to allow residents to view a map and grid with all of the crimes in their area and sign up for neighborhood watch reports.

    Castle Rock Police Department and LeadsOnline have partnered to provide the public a new way to protect their personal property. ReportIt allows you to securely store serial numbers, item descriptions, pictures, and receipts so that your items may be more easily identified in the event of theft or loss.

    The Records Unit maintains official reports of all incidents reported to Castle Rock Police. Traffic Accident Reports for accidents occurring on or after Nov.1, 2014 may be obtained online. Records Unit Personnel are available Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Safe Zone Program

    The safe transaction zone was designed to help protect our citizens as robberies, thefts, and scams become more prevalent with online transaction sites. Citizens are encouraged to use the public areas of the Police facility, which are well lit and monitored by cameras, as a place to meet and conduct their transactions.
