Castle of Terror - canceled for 2019

Creepy Prisoner cutting wires on chain link wall

Join Castle Rock Fire and Rescue for a terrifying night at the annual Castle of Terror. The scream-worthy haunted house benefits the Police and Fire Explorer programs. With a goal to scare, those under 13 are not admitted without an adult.

Dates: Canceled for 2019 / Rescheduled for 2020
Hours: 7-10 p.m.
Location: 303 Malibu St. Castle Rock, CO 80109

Cost: $10 sold at the door, cash, check or credit card.

The Castle of Terror is a small-town event that rivals anything found in the south-metro area. The planning committee works hard to provide the intense scares and thrills that our patrons have grown to expect while raising funds for the Police and Fire Explorers programs.

The committee is made up of a small number Fire and Police department staff, Fire and Police Explorers, and volunteers. Other than that, the "production" relies entirely on volunteer assistance. Many high school students like to help out with this event as a way to fulfill their 20 hours of required community service for high school graduation.

If you’re really into fright, try becoming a volunteer. All volunteers must submit a waiver upon arriving to volunteer.
