For the Town, public safety is a process that involves continual research and adaptation. With a growing population, it is important to keep up with the needs of residents. Road and traffic safety is one area the Town holds in high importance.
The Town’s Public Works Department recently studied speeds along Crystal Valley Parkway, between the new Fire Station 152 and Lake Gulch Road. Attend an informational open house from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Fire Station 152, 485 Crystal Valley Parkway, for a chance to learn more about the upcoming changes and speak with the Town’s traffic engineers and police officers.
Changes will include:
There are some myths that exist around how increasing the speed limit can impact actual speeds. Traffic experts will get the facts straight at the open house, or residents can visit CRgov.com/CVpkwychanges for more information.
