Roadwork can be a bit of an inconvenience for drivers, but it helps the Town make the most of its investment in infrastructure. Soon, road crews will be working along eastbound Crystal Valley Parkway.
The work – between Manorbrier Circle and East Loop Road – is expected to begin on Monday, Aug. 28. Crews will repair cracks and adjust manhole covers to better match surrounding pavement. Once work is completed, drivers can expect a smoother ride quality. While this side of Crystal Valley Parkway is still in good condition and is achieving its full design life, maintenance like this helps economically preserve the road and extend its lifespan.
For the safety of workers and the traveling public, eastbound Crystal Valley Parkway will be down to one lane in the construction zone. Drivers can expect delays. While westbound Crystal Parkway is not directly affected by this work, drivers may see construction zones on that side, which are related to new development construction activities.
The roadwork is expected to last three weeks, though all construction schedules in Colorado – including start dates – depend on weather.
Please drive safely through this an all construction zones. For a look at Townwide lane and road closures, visit CRgov.com/Roadwork.
