Would this be like the Rec Center? We are in desperate need of an additional Rec Center for the Town.

What about an indoor ice rink? Seems like that could be a good money-maker for the Town and needed in the area. The nearest indoor rink is in Centennial or Monument. We already have an inline hockey rink in Castle Rock.

I agree; Castle Rock does need more recreational opportunities.

Another fitness center would be nice. I hear about an indoor rink only about once every six years. I hear many people wishing for another rec center with basketball, volleyball, weights, fitness classes.

An indoor ice rink is expensive to build and operate. Yes it's fairly popular and will generate revenue but not sure the cost can be justified. Another recreation center with basketball, volleyball and fitness equipment and classes would be nice.

An ice rink would be great, but not at the new park. Too much traffic and it wouldn't be keeping with the outdoor concept.
