DID YOU KNOW... The Castle Rock Police Department has a program specifically dedicated to the wonderful seniors in our community? It's called "RUOK?" and the goal is to regularly connect with Castle Rock's most vulnerable populations who are living alone: senior citizens over the age of 65, and adults with disabilities.
Each week, a volunteer with CRPD will call their senior to check in and send officers if they need assistance. Not only does this program help these residents feel connected to our community, the RUOK? program also promotes socialization and the utilization of Town resources.
We invite you to learn more about this program, meet the volunteers and sign-up (either as a volunteer or resident) at our upcoming open house. Join us Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Town's Public Safety Training Facility. We recommend you use Google maps (not Apple) for directions.
