The program improves the vitality of native bluebird populations throughout Colorado with the goal of informing and educating the public about bluebirds. Since 2007, the program has consistently expanded and now includes almost 170 nest boxes at 29 different sites in Castle Rock. Volunteers are needed for weekly monitoring of nest boxes and breeding activity beginning April 1 continuing through mid-August.
