
Rob Hanna was appointed director of Parks and Recreation in May 1998.
Rob has been involved with municipalities since 1988. Prior to Castle Rock, Rob worked for the City of Colorado Springs,
El Paso County and the City of Aurora Parks and Recreation departments. He was also an associate with JT Dunkin and Associates, an urban planning and landscape architect firm in Dallas. There, he developed parks and recreation master plans for municipalities throughout Texas.
Rob earned his bachelor of landscape architecture from Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He is currently a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional. He is actively involved with
many national and local professional organizations, including the National Recreation and Parks Association, Colorado Parks and Recreation Association, American Society of Landscape Architects and the Southwest Parks and Recreation Training Institute. He has been elected as an officer, board member and served on several committees within those organizations.
Rob is originally from the Dallas / Ft. Worth area and enjoys the outdoors, including camping, fly fishing and hunting.
