1. How do I learn more about noxious weeds?

2. Who do I contact regarding parks maintenance?

E-mail the Parks Maintenance Division or call them at 720-733-2260 for questions, comments or updates on mowing schedules, weed trimming, watering etc.

3. Where can I find an off-leash dog park?

The Town does not maintain an off-leash dog park. Douglas County does maintain one in Castle Rock, however, at Fairgrounds Regional Park. For more information and additional dog parks within Douglas County, visit the link below. Douglas County off-leash dog parks

4. Are grills allowed in the park?

The parks and recreation department does not provide grills. However, you may bring a gas grill to use. No charcoal grills are allowed or open burning.

5. What is the cost to reserve a picnic shelter/pavilion?

Picnic pavilions and play fields may be reserved at select Town parks. Pavilion reservation requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the date requested. All other park amenities may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

Park picnic pavilions rental fees:

1-50 people - $50 per block
51-100 people - $100 per block

6. How do I reserve a picnic shelter/pavilion?

Picnic pavilions at select parks are available for rental with at least two week's notice by calling 720-733-2260 between the hours of 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. 7. Are there campgrounds located in Castle Rock?

No, the Town does not have any campgrounds within Town limits.
