Volunteers of all ages help make nearly every Town department run better, and more cost-efficiently. National estimates show that each hour volunteered represents $20.85 saved by the Town. Those savings are especially important in these times of tight budgets.

Best of all, it's not just a "take" on the part of the Town -- volunteers reap what they sew. Their experiences help them learn new skills, meet new people and even improve their health.
