Historic Preservation Board
Overview
The Historic Preservation Board addresses all issues related to historic preservation in Castle Rock, including encouraging designation of structures as local landmarks and developing design guidelines for renovations. Four of the eight board members must have education and experience in one of the following areas: history, archaeology, architectural history, architecture or historic architecture.
If you are interested in seeing your property designated as a local landmark or placed on the National Register of Historic Places, look at our Historic Research Guide.
