Emphasizing education and crime prevention, we've seen the number of major crimes in Castle Rock decline since 2000, despite doubling in population and a slowing economy over the same period.
The department's 90 employees include 67 sworn and 23 civilian personnel, in areas such as K-9 units, Patrol, Community Policing, Special Operations, Support Services and Investigations.
