About GIS
A combination of computer software, people and data sets form the Town's Geographic Information System. The Division of Innovation and Technology uses GIS to create maps of Castle Rock and to answer more complex questions such as: How steep is the slope in this area? How dense is the housing in Plum Creek? What areas are Preble's mouse habitats?
