Serving at community events
The Fire and Rescue Department provides fire and emergency medical services on a standby basis at major community and area events, including Elephant Rock Cycling Festival and Artfest.

Services
By working closely with the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, the department helps ensure event participant safety through fire permitting and inspections and provides on-site education as well as emergency medical services.

Members of the Fire and Rescue Department also participate annually in the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Fill the Boot campaign over Labor Day weekend.
