The Town recognizes how important
it is to work together to create a great place
to live, work and shop.
If your proposed development advances some of
the Town’s economic
development goals, the Town may consider
offering economic development
incentives. When we come together with a common
goal, great things are
created.
Major community goals
currently include
- Becoming a freestanding,
self-sufficient community,
providing appropriate employment, retail,
service, educational,
recreational and health care facilities;
- Attracting
high-quality nonresidential development
exceeding minimum standards
and guidelines for architecture,
landscaping, water conservation and
public amenities;
- Creating regional draws which import
direct and indirect revenues to the community;
- Preserving
and enhancing Downtown Castle Rock as a
viable central business
district with a small-town atmosphere and sense
of community consistent
with Downtown plans and
guidelines.
If you believe your application may meet the
goals and criteria and / or is a targeted businesses listed in the
Economic Development Assistance Policy,
submit an
Economic
Development Assistance Application to the Town manager.
