A system for repairs

In Colorado, we're used to the weather taking its toll on our roadways, especially in the form of potholes.

The Castle Rock Public Works Department takes a strategic approach to repairing potholes. Not all potholes are created equal. Crews prioritize pothole repair by degree of hazard.

At the top of the list are potholes on main roads that can't easily be avoided and could damage cars. Crews strive to repair these as soon as discovered, usually within 24 hours. Remaining potholes are usually repaired within 10 business days.
