COVID-19 Update

  1. Outdoor pool plan updated with increased reservation times and capacity

Starting Friday, July 3, increased capacity and expanded reservation times will help even more residents join the fun.

Burgess Memorial and Butterfield Crossing pools are open for the season, but with some changes. Staff is working to follow all guidelines set by the State and local health department. As new recommendations are released, procedures will be updated.

Starting July 3, reservations times will be expanded to 2 hours. Pool capacity will also be increased. Appointment times can still be made 48 hours in advance at CRgov.com/Registration. Click on the “Outdoor Pool Reservations” icon. Or, book a reservation by phone at 720-724-2082.

Between each reservation, the pool will be closed so staff can disinfect frequently touched surfaces, shared objects and bathrooms. Reservations can only be made for residents within the same household. Multiple reservations may be made at one time, and visitors will only be charged for one entry per day, per person. Additionally, those under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Walk-ins will only be allowed if reservations are not full. Pre-payment online for reservations is encouraged to speed up the check-in process.

Bathrooms and showers will be open; however, locker availability will be limited. Additionally, all pool furniture has been removed. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Outside food and drinks are also permitted – alcohol is not allowed.

Please note, pool goers are required to wear a face covering through the check-in process. Social distancing on the pool deck, in the water and in the locker room is also required.

The aquatics program offers a variety of programs and locations to satisfy every level swimmer.

In addition to our fitness water aerobics program, there are programs and classes designed for the beginner to elite skill levels.
