Get fit with Castle Rock Recreation
Fitness and wellness isn't just a trend, it's a lifestyle. And, Castle Rock is considered one of the heathiest communities in the nation. That's why we strive to provide quality opportunities for the entire family to be healthy and fit.
Group fitness classes
Every week, the Fitness and Wellness Division offers all your favorite group fitness classes free with facility admission. Enjoy formats like BodyPump, Zumba, yoga and so much more. Check out our weekly group fitness class schedule, view the group fitness class list and try one of our classes today! Registration is available 48 hours prior to the start of the class.
Premium fitness classes
Year-round premium fitness classes are fee based and not included in passes or daily admission at either facility. Offered at both the Recreation Center and the Miller Activity Complex will get your sweating.

Personal training can help you reach your goals regardless of your current fitness level. A certified trainer will design a program to meet your individual needs. Ages 16 and up.

Buddy / group personal training

- Express (30-minute sessions) Available in a package of six only $100 ($90 resident)

Pilates reformer
The Pilates Reformer is a specialized piece of exercise equipment designed to provide users finely tuned exercise resistance. This allows users to very precisely develop good alignment, core strength and flexibility.
Individual (60-minute sessions)
Private Reformer Training is one-on-one instruction that can help you achieve your goals regardless of your current level of fitness. Trainers will assess your alignment and posture to design a workout specifically for you. Ages 16 and up.

Nutrition coaching
With one-on-one 45-minute sessions, rediscover the joy of eating and learn to trust your body. With a focus on intuitive eating and gentle nutrition coaching, we will take a non-punitive approach to reaching your goals. No diets, no restrictions, no judgment; only love for yourself and food. Together, we’ll break down and combat diet culture; learn to reframe your thoughts to develop a healthy relationship with your body and food; and discover flexible meal planning to fuel your mind, body and spirit.

Weight room orientation
Let one of our Certified Personal Trainers teach you how to use our equipment safely and effectively. Get started on your fitness goals knowing you are exercising properly. Each orientation will take 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of participants, and will go over the circuit weight equipment and cardiovascular machines. Orientations are free but registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours before the orientation is scheduled to start and will be limited to six participants.
