The Downtown Development Authority is responsible for adopting and implementing the plan of development for the downtown central business district. The DDA works to facilitate economic development and the redevelopment of properties and infrastructure within the downtown area (PDF). To be eligible to serve on this board, residents must be a property owner, a business lease holder or a resident within the designated Downtown Development Authority boundary.
Regular meetings are held on the second Thursdays of each month at 12 p.m., at Town Hall in Council Chambers. No meetings are scheduled in the months of January and July.
