- Bike Park at Rhyolite Regional Park
Rhyolite Bike Park is a great location for mountain bikers to enjoy the trails and work on their skills. The trails are suitable for most users, with features for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. Helmets and proper gear are recommended. Please do not use when the trails are wet or muddy. For the safety of all users, pedestrian use of the Bike Park is not advised.
The Bike Park has a flow-based design, with 260 feet of vertical drop. There are both natural trail features and steel-frame wood-deck man-made features at this site, including downhill flow lines, jump line with man-made table tops, a mulch-pit jump, curved wood-decked wall rides and a pump track for youth / beginner riders. A sessions zone includes rollers, jumps and berms.
In addition to the Bike Park trails, there is a 1.7-mile cyclocross course that weaves around the entire Rhyolite Regional Park site on a combination of unpaved and paved trails. As is typical with cyclocross, this course features various natural and man-made obstacles and barriers. The course is best ridden on a modified road bike outfitted with knobbier tires.
The main trailhead parking lot and restrooms are at Rhyolite Regional Park.
