Project update

  1. Repair work on the concrete, sewer and supporting soils at Cobblestone Ranch Park will commence on Monday, Jan. 22.  The project’s scope of work will include demolishing and clearing necessary areas, importing and compacting soil for appropriate drainage, completing irrigation modifications to reconnect the system following soil corrections, placing new concrete and curbs, replanting and reseeding landscaped areas and placing new sod as necessary. The project will be completed by spring 2024.

    In November, Town Council approved a construction contract with SaBell’s Civil and Landscape, LLC, for the Cobblestone Ranch Reconstruction Project. The new neighborhood park opened to the public in June 2022. Shortly thereafter, a construction defect was discovered with the backfilling of a future sanitary sewer line approximately 14 feet deep. Concrete paths began to vertically separate and their integrity was undermined below. To address the defects, SaBell’s will mobilize on site early 2024.
