    Calling all tree lovers and landscape enthusiasts. Volunteers, we need your help! The Town has been given more than 300 pine, crab apple and hackberry trees. Now, volunteers are needed to help plant the trees the week of Oct. 14, before planting season is over. The trees will be planted at 10 different Town locations. Crews and volunteers will be working at two locations each day, so bring gloves, a shovel, and a wheelbarrow if you have one, and get ready to get your hands dirty. Town crews will pre-dig the holes. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to noon throughout the week to finish cleaning out the holes, planting the tree and staking the trees, and then mulching.
