Neighborhood Meeting - Proposed Site Development Plan – Avilla at Founders Village - VIRTUAL MEETING

 
Virtual Neighborhood Meeting: Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, 6:00 p.m.
 

Dear Neighbor,

You are cordially invited to our neighborhood meeting regarding a proposed Site Development Plan (SDP) in your area, known as, “Avilla at Founders Village”. This is the third neighborhood meeting for this proposed project and will take place at 6 PM Wednesday, Nov. 2. This meeting is the final neighborhood meeting required prior to scheduling any public hearings. The purpose of the meeting is to present the plans that will be considered at public hearings in front of Planning Commission and Town Council. Public Hearing dates have not been finalized at this time. Previous neighborhood meetings have been held on Sep. 15, 2021 and Jan. 20, 2022.

SDP Proposal

The Avilla at Founders Village project is located at the northwest corner of Mikelson Blvd. and Mitchell Street, consisting of a total of 9.3 acres of land. A total of 105 for-rent, single-family detached and attached (duplex) units are proposed. The project will feature homes fronting on common open spaces, sidewalk connections throughout the site, surface and enclosed parking spaces, ample landscaping, and on-site recreational and leisure amenities.

Information for Those Attending Virtually

The neighborhood meeting will be held online using a Zoom webinar. 

• All virtual participants will automatically have their video/audio turned off upon entry to the meeting
• Questions will be held until the end of the initial presentation by the project team
• To ask a question (or make a comment) verbally, please use the "Raise Hand" function in Zoom
• Those participating by phone may press *9
• The project team will work down the list of questions and raised hands in order and activate the user’s audio one at a time to allow them to speak
• Please be aware that the meeting will be recorded to ensure an accurate record of comments and questions about the project

Contact Information

Please provide any written feedback you may have to the Applicant/Developer by Monday, Oct. 31 to allow for potential responses at the virtual neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 2. The Town will accept any feedback at any time.
