Hybrid meeting (virtual and in-person)

You are invited to attend a Town Council meeting to discuss the Substantial Compliance Hearing on a proposed annexation. This is a hybrid meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for the Town Council to review and set the date for the Eligibility Hearing.

Project Description

The applicant is proposing an annexation located at 498 E. Wolfensberger Road. The 2.07-acre property is zoned Agricultural One (AI) in unincorporated Douglas County and is undeveloped. The purpose of the Substantial Compliance Hearing is to demonstrate to Town Council that the Wellspring Community and Covenant Church Annexation Petition is in Substantial Compliance with the State requirements under the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965 (Act), and to set the date for the Eligibility Hearing.

• When it is time for this item to be heard at the public hearing, staff will give a presentation on the proposed project. The applicant also has the option to give a presentation on the proposed project. 
• Opportunity for questions and answers will be available after the presentations and once public comment period has been opened. All participants who wish to speak will be given the opportunity to do so
