Neighborhood Meeting – Alexander Way – Proposed Annexation and Initial Zoning

6:00 p.m., Monday, October 16, 2023
Virtual meeting

You are invited to attend the fourth neighborhood meeting to discuss a proposed annexation and zoning. This is a virtual meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for the applicant to share the final plans that will be presented to Planning Commission and Town Council and answer any questions you might have.

Virtual: Directions on how to log in and use the telephone and web formats are listed at the end of this post.

Project description

The proposed Alexander Way project includes annexation of 73.76 acres and the zoning of 77.96 acres located north of Alexander Place and east of Brewer Court. The property is east of the Silver Heights neighborhood and west of the Diamond Ridge Estates neighborhood. The proposed development plan for the project calls for a density of one dwelling unit per acre consistent with the adjacent communities. Over 40% of the site is proposed as open space including a pocket park/orchard and trail head. There are a total of 55 single family detached lots ranging from one-half acre to nearly one acre in size. Additionally, 22 live/work units are proposed in the southwest corner of the site with access to Brewer Court. The plan proposes a loop street with cul-de-sacs to provide access to the homes. Infrastructure to serve the homesites is adjacent to the site and provides for a logical extension of Town services without major impacts to the existing infrastructure systems. The neighborhood will be adhering to water conservation measures in accordance with Town regulations.

View the final plans online that will be presented to Planning Commission and Town Council at and search “Alexander Way”.

This application requires a public hearing before the Planning Commission and Town Council. Information on future public hearings can be found on the Public Notices calendar on the Town’s website, should you like to attend:
