Public places throughout Castle Rock are shining brighter since new sculptures were installed in recent weeks in conjunction with the Countywide Art Encounters program.Six sculptures are being featured through late May/early June 2019:
To borrow the pieces for the year, the Town has given each artist an $800 stipend, which is funded through the Philip S. Miller Trust Fund. No taxpayer money is used to purchase public art in Castle Rock.Starting its 11th year, Art Encounters provides one-year exhibits of sculptures in retail and civic areas within Douglas County.
