Maintaining the Town’s investment into roads is a top priority. As crews make progress on the 2018 Pavement Maintenance Program, there are a few construction closures for drivers to keep in mind. Work will begin on Lantern Trail and Turnstone Avenue Monday.Crews will be reconstructing the pavement on Lantern Trail. As for Turnstone Avenue, work will consist of removing the damaged concrete and then grinding the pavement to smooth it out. For safety reasons, some temporary lane closures will be necessary. However, residential access will be maintained.Starting Monday, July 9, crews will be paving Lantern Trail from Enderud Boulevard to Mikelson Boulevard. There will be limited access to Lantern Trail throughout the day. Crews will be back Tuesday, July 10 to finishing the striping on the road. Please use alternate routes. We apologize for the inconvenience.Also on Monday, work will begin on Turnstone Avenue. Residents are asked to use alternative routes through the neighborhood while construction crews are in the area.This roadwork is part of the Town’s Council-approved maintenance program. The program concentrates residential road maintenance to one of five defined residential areas each year on a rotating basis.
