Fall fun and more at the Fall Festival Oct. 25

Fall Festival featuring Creepy Crawlies Around the Rock

From changing leaves to cooler temperatures, there’s something special about autumn in Castle Rock. Join us Sunday, Oct. 25, to celebrate all things pumpkin, spooky and fall at the Fall Festival featuring Creepy Crawlies Around the Rock.

Enjoy the seasonal fun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Festival Park. The festival kicks off with a pumpkin patch from the LOCAL Colorado, the organizer of the Sunday Farmer’s Market at Festival Park. Pumpkins will be available for purchase, while supplies last.

Families can also enjoy activity stations such as pumpkin painting, giant tic-tac-toe, guessing games and a decorated photo booth. After pumpkin picking, stroll through more than 30 harvest-style vendors featuring locally made food and craft products.

And, don’t forget to wear your costume! An informal costume contest for kids will take place throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded for Best Baby Costume (ages 0 to 2 years old), Best Children’s Costume (ages 3 to 9 years old) and Best Big Kids Costume (ages 10 plus). All winners will be notified following the event.

Creepy Crawlies Around the Rock, presented by Nature Educators, will also be there from 1 to 3 p.m. with a booth. This educational, Halloween-themed animal booth will include some of Castle Rock’s creepiest creatures such as snakes, spiders, toads, owls and roaches.
