[ARCHIVED] Your voice matters: Respond to call to answer 2023 community survey

“How are we doing?” is a question we come across daily on sales receipts, corporate vehicles and more.

Soon, that query will come from the Town to Castle Rock residents and businesses as part of the Town’s 2023 community survey process. Invites will be arriving through March via mail, email, phone call and text. Phone calls will come from 855-242-4247 and texts from 312-598-8858.

The survey will request feedback on the Town’s wide range of services: police, fire/EMS, water, roads, parks and recreation, and communications. Broad themes including the community’s growth, character, livability and Downtown will also be explored. (Business license holders will be asked a smaller set of business-specific questions.)

Respondents will need to use the surveyID from their invitation to access the questionnaire to ensure the survey’s statistical validity. Residents will be able to choose whether to submit their answers all at once or in three separate segments. The first 500 residents to complete all three segments will receive a $5 gift card to a vendor of their choosing as a thank you for the time spent sharing their input.

Third-party research firm ComEngage is completing the research on the Town’s behalf. Any household that has not received an invitation by March 29 and wishes to participate should email to request a surveyID.

Since 2011, the Town has commissioned resident and business surveys in each odd-numbered year. The feedback provided is vital in helping the Town monitor its performance over time and is used as the Town plans for its future.

A report on the survey’s results will be published by the end of April at
