[ARCHIVED] Get ready to groove with UB40 at the Amphitheater July 13

What’s better than a summer concert with friends to find your relaxed, reggae groove? UB40 and special guest Big Mountain will be jammin’ Thursday, July 13, at the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park. Tickets are on sale now.

In celebration of UB40’s 45th anniversary, the legendary reggae-pop band will bring fans a special live performance of their hit singles “Red Red Wine,” “Food For Thought,” “(I Can’t Help) Falling In Love With You,” and many more. UB40 has entertained audiences worldwide since the late 1970s with its unique blend of reggae and pop and was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times.

The rhythms will begin with a special guest appearance by Big Mountain, best known for their rendition of "Baby, I Love Your Way," — a 1994 top 10 hit single in the U.S.

Get ready to jam out this summer — head to CRgov.com/Concerts for tickets. General admission tickets are $49 and VIP packages start at $99.

Delicious food will be available from a variety of food trucks and refreshing drinks can be purchased from the full cocktail bar.

The Summer Concert Series is part of the Town’s goal to keep our community character alive with community festivals, concerts and activities. The concert series brings Grammy-nominated, world famous acts to Castle Rock on select evenings June through August. Nestled in the beautiful setting of Philip S. Miller Park, the Amphitheater is one of Colorado’s most sought-after live-music venues. The intimate setting, family friendly environment and amazing acoustics make for a great musical experience.
