[ARCHIVED] Grant funding available for local nonprofits; applications due Aug. 1

News from the Town of Castle Rock

Nonprofit organizations that support Castle Rock residents and the community are invited to apply for grant money through the Philip S. Miller Resource Grant Program.

In 2023, up to $40,000 is available for up to five nonprofit organizations. Eligible organizations include those that administer projects or programs geared toward the support of social and human services for Castle Rock residents and the community. Specifically, the funding requests must include provisions for water, energy, food or shelter assistance. Applicants must be able to demonstrate measurable results for use of the funds.

More information and applications are available online at CRgov.com/Grant. Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1.

The Town’s Finance Department is coordinating the application process. However, the Public Safety Commission will evaluate all applications and make a recommendation to Town Council, which will choose the grantees.
