[ARCHIVED] Glow bright for a good cause; Therapeutic Recreation fundraiser set for Sept. 22

Glow Dance Party

Take the work out of working out and help a great cause at the 2023 Glow Dance Party, benefiting the Town of Castle Rock’s Therapeutic Recreation program.

This all-ages, family-friendly party shakes its way to the Amphitheater at Philip S. Miller Park from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22. Get decked out in your best “glow” gear and light-up accessories, and come enjoy great music, dancing, prizes and more at this fundraising event. Free glow necklaces will be provided at the entrance.

Registration is $5 for ages 5 to 11 and $15 for ages 12 and up — the first 100 people who register will get a free scoop of ice cream from Howdy Homemade Ice Cream. Food will also be available for purchase.

Try some of the hottest fitness formats like Zumba, Rebel Groove, Mixxed Fit and D2G SocaFit, all while contributing to a great cause. Come out for a night of camaraderie, high-energy exercise and glow-in-the-dark fun. Registration and more information are available at CRgov.com/Glow

The Town’s Therapeutic Recreation program supports members of the community, and their families, who have cognitive and physical disabilities and helps them live an active lifestyle. Funds raised at the event are used to provide scholarships and adaptive equipment for the program. Thank you to our event sponsor, Developmental Pathways.
