Don’t let summer sneak up on you; youth camp registration opens Monday, Jan. 15

Summer Camp. Registration opens Jan. 15

Winter may be barely underway, but kids are already dreaming of summer. The Town of Castle Rock has a variety of fun, active and engaging activities to keep kids busy and provide a memorable summer break.

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide range of Athletics and Adventure Camps for youth. Registration opens Monday, Jan. 15, and spots will fill quickly. Register before Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 19, to receive $10 off per camp. Use coupon code CAMP24. Please note, this code will only work for full-day Athletics and Adventure Camps, not half-day or specialty camps.

Running from Tuesday, May 28, through mid-August, the Town’s full-day, half-day and specialty summer camps are available for kids ages 3 to 17, with a variety of themes. A full list of summer camp offerings, descriptions and prices can be found at CRgov.com/Camps.

Camp offerings include:

Athletics and Adventure camps 

  • Adventure Club Preschool Camp (ages 3 to 5) (half-day)
  • Gold Medal Camp (ages 7 to 12) (full and half-day) — geared toward competitive athletes
  • Great Outdoors Camp (ages 10 to 15) — a great opportunity for kids to get outdoors and explore
  • Multisport Camp (ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 14) — perfect for youth looking to try out a new sport
  • Rock Rec Camp (ages 5 to 13) — the traditional day camp experience full of fun games and activities

Specialty camps and clinics

  • Dance Exploration (ages 3 to 10)
  • Inspire to Learn and Imagine (ages 6 to 14)
  • Jedi and Fencing Training Camp (ages 8 to 17) (full and half-day)
  • KidzArt (ages 6 to 12)
  • Kindergarten Prep (ages 4 to 5) (half-day)
  • Mad Science Summer Camp (ages 6 to 11)
  • Soccer Buddies (ages 4 to 12)
  • Youth Tech (ages 6 to 17)
