A new statewide public health order began April 16, allowing counties to implement regulations at the local level while still maintaining some limited requirements. Douglas County opted out of the local Tri-County Health Department regulations; however, State guidelines still require face coverings are required to be worn in indoor public places through May 15. Additionally, 6-foot distancing is required at large indoor events.
