Pedal the MoonThis family friendly event starts as the sun sets and celebrates the full moon.
Experience the 11th annual evening ride on the East Plum Creek Trail to Festival Park. At the park, kids will enjoy viewing the moon through telescopes set up by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA).
There will be a bike decorating station at Hangman's Gulch and weenie roast at the park. Of course, all riders must wear a helmet and have a front headlamp and blinking rear light. Friday, July 23 Depart from Castle View High School at 7 p.m.

The Old West will truly come to life. Watch as cowhands from Silverado Ranch drive a herd of longhorn cattle through Downtown. Starting at Rock Park, the herd will continue along Perry Street before completing the journey right in front of the Castle Rock Police Department.
Lots of Western activities will take place in Festival Park, too! The Park County Regulators, a team of Old West reenactment actors, will perform a wild west show.
