Skateboarding for Beginners

Participants will learn about safety, sportsmanship, proper equipment, skate park etiquette, entry-level tricks (pushing, pumping, dropping in, board control) and most importantly, will have FUN! With small class sizes, participants experience skater-specific, flexible instruction tailored to individual needs. Helmets are required and pads are highly recommended. Please no penny, nickel or long boards. Parents are welcome to drop off or stay and watch.

Gone Fishing Trips - Fun for the Whole Family

Gone Fishing Trips

Go ahead, put that sign on your front door! Prices to these Gone Fishing trips include transportation, gear and a great fishing guide – all you have to do is show up with your fishing license, a sack lunch and a beverage of choice. Each trip features a different location so participants will have the opportunity to see new sights and catch different types of fish. The professional guide will even fillet your fish prior to departure so you can bring them home ready to cook! Meet at the MAC for transportation.

N"oodles" of Fun Camp

Craft, create and compete with POOL NOODLES. Participants will create a project, strategize with teammates and put their skills to the test. At the end of the session, participants will create an obstacle course using their crafts. Then, they'll work together to get through the course! Grab your friends and get signed up for this one of a kind, never before class. It will be N"OODLES" of fun.

KidzArt: Imagine! Weekly Drawing Class

Students “power up” their creative energy at KidzArt! Students are exposed to a variety of artistic styles, cultural interpretations and materials. Students will complete an original drawing and color it using different mediums each class time (all materials included).
If you can dream you can draw!

CSU R.A.M. Full-day Camps

The Town is partnering with Colorado State University for these fun, healthy summer camps at the MAC. With a healthy lifestyle, every child’s a winner! There are four camps to choose from - FunLIFE, Multi-sport, Music and Movement and Outdoor Adventure. R.A.M. camps are state-licensed. Plus, before and after care is available!

Mad Science - Crazy Chemistry

Campers will explore molecular madness, crazy chemistry and all kinds of radical reactions as they whip up potions in this exciting chemistry-themed camp! Participants will discover how different chemicals react when mixed, explore the use of catalysts, indicators, cross-linkers and other special chemicals and will use their skills as chemists to create several fun projects at home!

Mission (not so) Impossible

This camp is a top-secret mission for brave kids! Campers will train their mind and body by surviving in a room full of clues, puzzles and mind-benders. Each day campers will learn to solve lock combinations, read secret messages and ciphers and escape from a room full of related and unrelated objects. Campers will be challenged to work in teams, sharpen their memory skills and attention to detail, reinforce problem-solving and foster creative thinking. This camp is a thrilling and rewarding game experience that is designed to boost kids’ confidence, self-esteem and brainpower. The possibilities are endless!
