Amendment to the Oakwood Apartments Site Development Plan

Notice is hereby given that the Douglas County Housing Authority has requested an amendment to the Oakwood Apartments Site Development Plan. The Oakwood Apartments are located at 559 Oakwood Drive Castle Rock, CO 80104. The property is also described as Most Lot 2 & Part Lot 1 Oakwood Apartments and Most Lot 1 & Part Lot 2 Oakwood Apartments. The amendment to the Site Development Plan proposes a new three-story building that contains 53 apartments, leasing center, and clubhouse. An existing apartment building of 8 units and the current leasing center building and clubhouse building will be demolished. Additional parking to meet the parking requirements will be built for the net gain of 45 apartment units.
Public hearings into said application will be held before the Planning Commission on September 12, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. and at Town Council on October 1, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. (Times are approximate). The hearings will be held at the Castle Rock Town Hall, 2nd floor Council Chambers, 100 N. Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings.
