This paved trail takes users through the wetland and riparian habitat of East Plum Creek with connections to the Hangman’s Gulch and Sellars Gulch trails. The Meadows portion is a great location for bird watching. An interpretive station has been installed to help trail users identify birds in the area. Additional interpretive stations have been added along the trail providing interesting information about local history and wildlife habitat.

As part of the Colorado Front Range Trail, this recreational trail also functions as a commuter trail providing access between The Meadows neighborhood and Downtown Castle Rock as well as southern neighborhoods such as Crystal Valley, Kings Ridge and Montaine.

There are proposed plans to extend the trail further south towards Bell Mountain Parkway and east through The Terrain to connect to the Cherry Creek Regional Trail.
